Writings In The Sky Verse: I'm awake for the first time in the longest time. It feels like I'm alive. Don't you think that it's a sign that I'm feeling things for the first time in my life? Chorus: 'Cause when I, when I got high it washed away the pain inside. To fall is to fly. You can't keep on believing. The memories will hide. They'll stay, conquer and divide what you left behind. Verse: "Keep your head up, Honey." They always say, but it's hard to keep a head up when it's thoughts are heavy so, I put on a guise and hope no one will see that I'm slowly crumbling. I'm not as strong as I seem. Chorus: 1x Bridge: I, I'm alive, but it's hard to remember when half of me has died and when I try to articulate the right words are at the tip of my tongue, but when I try to speak they dissipate. So, I sit and breath. I focus on the better parts. The happiness that I believe is there somewhere deep down. And I keep these heavy thoughts from sinking me by keeping my head up in the clouds.
